Cancellation Terms & Refund Policy

• Cancellation by Participant prior Beginning of Program

If Participant desires to cancel participation in the Travel Program for any reason, it shall provide written notice signed by the Participant 30 days prior to the beginning of the Travel Program. In the event of cancellation, if Friendship Ambassadors Foundation (FAF) is able to obtain refunds from the service providers of the Travel Program, FAF shall refund the costs to the extent of such refunds and less the following cancellation fees, which FAF shall retain:

  1. $200 (non-refundable deposit) if notice is post-marked any day before May 31, 2011;

  2. $200 (Fee, above) plus $200 = $400 if notice is post-marked after May 31, 2011 but before July 1, 2011

  3. $400 (Fee, above) plus any amount that is not refunded to FAF by service providers, if notice is post-marked after July 1, 2011

• Cancellation by Participant after Beginning of Program and Non-utilization

If Participant cancels by the beginning of FAF Program or while the FAF Program is in progress, Participant agrees that FAF is not responsible for any refunds whatsoever. Participant further agrees that no refunds shall be made by FAF whatsoever of fees for services, accommodations or other items agreed upon herein if for any reason such services, accommodations or other parts of the FAF Program are provided as agreed upon herein, but not utilized by Participant.

• Cancellation by FAF

FAF reserves the right to cancel the Travel Programs for any reason and at any time (e.g. lack of participants sign up to the Program), in which case a full refund shall be made to participant including the Non-refundable Deposit. Participant will be notified by FAF via email regarding the cancellation.

• Termination by FAF

FAF can terminate the Participant in the FAF Program if FAF or its Authorized Agent or Representative deems said Participant to be detrimental to the FAF Program or to the reputation of FAF itself. FAF shall refund only the amounts available, as refunds from its service providers and FAF shall have no responsibility for any expense incurred by any such Participant. FAF reserves the right to expel Participant at any point during the program as deemed appropriate by on-site FAF staff for disruptive behavior. All consequential costs of Participant expulsion shall be borne by the Participant without recourse to the refund of unused program benefits.
