Inside the Ambassador's Residence in Paris
Only FAF tours get to the inside of places others merely view from the bus! In Paris this summer, the Greenwich Choral Society has received a very special invitation through the foundation’s many partnerships: they will sing at a July 4th event at the US Ambassador’s residence (once the luxurious home of the Faberge family!) for a small invited outdoor lawn party of 2800 guests! President Sarkozy is expected to attend. After this, they will perform a full American repertoire in a July 4 evening concert at the wonderful American Cathedral on Georges V. from there they take in a premiere sister city event in
Vienne, France. After their formal concert in Vienne, the choir will be hosted by the town and perform at its renowned International Jazz Festival during their second week in France. They will be joined for their tour by FAF’s Artistic Director Yin-Chu Jou and its Head if European operations, Ms. Szilvia
Fulop-Agoston. This is the kind of experience that FAF groups on tour have come to expect!
