Ways
to support FAF
Friendship Ambassadors Foundation, Inc. has a long history of promoting cultural exchange as a means to achieve peace, mutual understanding and global cooperation. We bring immense knowledge of the field to these concerns, and can provide lectures, programs, exchanges - even virtual ones - but we must rely on public support to do so and continue on.
In a changing environment such as we are witnessing today, our goals remain the same - but the means to achieve those goals must be adapted to live up to the new challenges. FAF has launched a number of initiatives with this thought in mind – please see our Programs page for the most important ones. But funding for such programs is strictly earmarked, with limited amounts available to support the foundation’s general
operations. That is why we ask YOU to add your support! Your assistance will help us in making the world a better place for all of us to live in. You can choose to support a specific project or our mission in general, and in-kind donations are just as welcome as financial contributions.

If any of the following projects, initiatives and objectives compel to you, you’ve found the
answer!
Global Exchange Tours
Our Foundation’s Peer-level Culture and Performance Tours offer cultural exchange at its best. Friendship Ambassadors Foundation believes that cultural exchange and concert performance tours worldwide are excellent ways for Americans to learn more about the rest of the world: culture and art are capable of transcending language barriers and enable true interaction to take place among those involved. Thus they promote peace and global cooperation through mutual understanding, and are essential for the education of youth – the leaders of the future. Furthermore, they can become valuable fund development and sustainable resource tools for the groups we serve on both ends of all exchanges,
worldwide.
Annual Youth Assembly at the United Nations
There is a genuine interest on the part of the United Nations at all levels to invite youth into its process and future.
The Youth Assembly at the United Nations focuses on youth led development and
the Millennium Development Goals. Expert speakers and workshop leaders
join the FAF team and Dr. Elaine Valdov to identify ways that young people,
18-26, can get involved with MDG success. A Youth Achievement Award is
given to specially selected 16-18 year olds who are allowed to join in the
free events each August with chaperone. There are also special events
during the Youth Assembly such as the United Cultures (U.C.) Peace arts
festival, Campaign night, Culture Night and others for the international
delegates. In 2008, the number of delegates reached 1000; speakers have
included Rev. Jesse Jackson, dr. Arun Gandhi, Kathy Ireland, Jeffrey Sachs,
Angelique Kidjo, and many others. Participants have the opportunity to get acquainted with the Secretariat, the Missions, and NGOs (that is, non-governmental organizations) affiliated with the United Nations. For details, please

Your support is welcome for any of the above projects and objectives. Or support our mission so that we can maintain and expand our international network and continue to work toward global peace and understanding.
