Services

Friendship Ambassadors Foundation, Inc. provides a wide range of services and initiatives to advance its mission.

We envision a world that is guided by understanding and respect – a world where people recognize they are all indispensable pieces of a complex and magnificent puzzle. We labor towards these goals through the services we offer:

People-to-People Arts Exchanges

Friendship Ambassadors Foundation, Inc. (FAF) organizes, facilitates and if possible, helps to sponsor the international travel of pre-formed non-professional artistic ensembles (such as university or community choirs, orchestras and bands, dance ensembles of various disciplines, or theater companies). Your group, association or institution can take advantage of the following opportunities:

- Performance tours and intercultural exchange programs

- Academic and community meetings and exchanges

- Arts festivals

- Professional conferences & institutional development forums

- Trade missions

FAF is a global travel and exchange organization that works in the best interest of arts and cultural, professional and educational groups worldwide. Foundation tours are inexpensive and totally customized - exchanges are first hand and meaningful. We also believe that cultural tourism can be a resource for communities seeking locally managed, sustained growth and development. FAF is an active partner to institutions seeking to internationalize their profiles. Beyond the actual tour, FAF can help make the most of each international experience.

Fund Development

In an ever shrinking world for fund development, Friendship Ambassadors Foundation, Inc. has created an easy, fun, no-cost, no-overhead way to raise considerable funds – without having to buy candy, wash cars, rent expensive benefit halls, or risk uncertain grants. And it is an approach that builds lasting positive public relations in the community and might even be an aid to world peace.

What could be so important, fun and easy as all that? FAF’s nonprofit, fund raising cultural group tours. No cost whatsoever to the companies we serve, fully tax deductible as allowed by law, and a great way to extend an already planned trip to make it a stellar fund raising success. Click here to find out how to make any tour into a fund development tool through ‘companion tours’, and how it will benefit your organization. Also we are providing you a link to a fascinating food, wine and culture tour that is a proven winner with many groups across the country. We invite you to investigate and see if you want to try it with your group!

FAF offers this opportunity to any and all not-for-profits as part of its Fundraising Alliance Program, developed to aid non-governmental organizations generate funds in difficult times.

Arts-based reconciliation and healing programs

Friendship Ambassadors Foundation, Inc. initiates, plans and implements international intercultural events and meetings such as retreats, festivals, seminars and symposia. These programs confront fear and intolerance relying primarily on the universal language, common to all, but owned by no one: arts and culture. In times of adversity, arts can play a critical role in leading groups of people towards greater understanding and healing. FAF believes that the best way to end the violence and despair that trauma, displacement and poverty brings is to use meaningful cultural exchange both as a post-traumatic healing asset as well as a means to prevent future conflicts. Our initiatives foster sensitivity to cultural values, differences and similarities; encourage non-violent conflict resolution, creative problem solving, cooperation, volunteerism; and equip people with practical tools, skills and knowledge for creating a sustained culture of peace in their own communities.
